Toddling Thru: 1st half of July

Between our extended 4th of July celebrations and celebrating Mommy's birthday, we have been swamped! We kicked off 4th of July, by eating some yummy patriotic cookies & hanging out at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Eloise had her 1st covered wagon ride at St. James Farm.  We would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there.  We learned a lot & Eloise was very impressed by some of the history.
We headed out to the Eyes to the Skies Festival in Lisle in hopes of seeing the hot air balloons.  Due to wind and threat of rain, the balloons weren't able to launch so we enjoyed some carnival games and rides.  The best part was the corn dogs & lemonade.
To kick off Mommy's birthday week, we celebrated with Grandma Karen, Grandpa Kevin, and Auntie Lo.  It was such a perfect summer day that we all got in Grandma & Grandpa's pool and then ate BBQ ribs afterwards.
Since Mommy & Daddy's birthdays are so close, we celebrated them together that night!
On Mommy's actual birthday, we went out to dinner at Sushi Mono and then headed to the Popcorn Shop in Downtown Wheaton for some birthday treats.
All night long on Mommy's birthday, Eloise was saying, "Happy...to you...Mommy!"

Next up - Daddy's Birthday & more Summer fun!!
