Pumpkin Pie Meet Sweet Potato

Somewhere between Halloween and Thanksgiving, I started calling Eloise, "Mama's little Pumpkin Pie" and it has stuck ever since.  This Friday we introduced Pumpkin Pie to Sweet Potato!

Baby Face Friday: 25 Weeks

Weight/Height: Mommy is anxiously awaiting the 6 month check up so that we can find out! 

Sleep: Eloise is asleep by 730 at the latest and sleeps until 5am.  She has been waking up in the wee hours of the morning but we have been letting her "cry it out" and fall back asleep.

What is Eloise doing?

Doing great with eating her rice cereal for breakfast & dinner. 

Figured how to whine or something close to that when she wants more food or Mommy. 

Highlights from this week

Having a blast in the exersaucer.  

We keep it in the kitchen so Eloise can be in the mix while Mommy is cooking or doing dishes.

 Eloise got a new play mat for the Living Room as she is outgrowing the Floor Mat.  

It was a big hit as she can easily spin herself around in circles.

Baby Face Friday: 24 Weeks

Weight/Height: The bathtub scale is still broken so I'm not sure how much our little Pumpkin Pie weighs these days.  She is sportin' size 3 diapers and 9 & 6-12 month size clothes. 

What is Eloise doing?

Eating rice cereal twice a day - breakfast & dinner.  We are going to start eating real food this week too!

Pushing up on her hands & semi army crawling.  When she is on her tummy she spins around like a top.

Baby Face Friday: 23 Weeks

Weight: Our fancy bathtub with a scale isn't working so no update this week.

Height: 26+ inches

Sleep: What happened to our baby who sleeps thru the night without waking? Like clock work, she is up around 3am, crying. Trying to figure it out...

Baby Face Friday: 5 Months

Weight: 17lbs

Height: 26 inches

Sleep: Going thru a phase where she wakes up at 3am and wants to party.  Trying to break that phase ASAP. 

What is Eloise doing?

Telling mom that she is ready for rice cereal by staring at everyone eating and reaching for food. 

Growling.  Yes, growling.  She will start to let out a little squeal that quickly morphs into a little growl.  It's really cute except for when she makes herself throw up from doing it too much. The photo below is her mid-growl. Funny enough she was looking at Piper. 

Poor Piper (not really)...  

Waiting for Spring to come so she can escape all this baby stuff.
