She was a little timid at first but eventually warmed up to what we were doing.
The best part of the last 2 weeks was that Eloise's newest friend, PJ Caravelli was born on March 26th. Eloise is so excited to have a real life baby to play with and kiss. Congrats to Anita & Paul!
Eloise had a sleepover last weekend with Grandma & Grandpa. She even helped Grandma make her banana & blueberry muffins. As you can see, she is a hands-on type of sous chef.
Eloise loved playing with her toys at grandma & grandpa's house. You know she loves her accessories so the new hat & purse were a hit!
Even Daddy looks good in it!
We had a break in the polar vortex for one day this week. Eloise got to play outside at school.
Enjoying the last few days of this sight...

Safety first when driving. Wear your oven mitts for extra safety precautions.
Eloise can't believe that she is already 18 months old either!!
Weight: 26lbs (84%)
Height: 32" (57%)
This month we have seen so many changes in Eloise. She picks up new words almost every week and her personality is getting stronger and stronger every day. I'm pretty sure that Brad had said at least twice this past month that he & Eloise are going to go round & round when she is a teenager. Haha! She is so chatty and is stringing words together in little toddler sentences. For example, "Mommy…more…mine…cookie" = "I want that cookie you are eating Mommy." Eloise's newest interest is her love for coloring. She has really gotten the knack for holding her crayons, holding the paper in place, and picking what she wants to color. She refers to coloring as "cor-cork." She loves to stand at the coffee table with her coloring book and crayons. Poor kid just has to fend off Piper from trying to steal her crayons in the process.
Boys & their toys? Not here. Girls & their toys!
Last weekend, we took Eloise to the DuPage Children's Museum for the 1st time. Eloise got a family membership from Grandma Karen & Grandpa Kevin for her birthday but we have been waiting to take her. She is definitely at a great age for this place. She had a lot of fun just running between the different areas but hands down her favorite area for the Bubble & Water Station.
Check these photos that I took on my phone:
Eloise & Daddy playing at the water table.
Over the last week or so, Eloise has been really into walking in our shoes. She has always liked playing in Mommy's closet but Daddy's big shoes are too fun to pass up!
The obsession with taking care of her babies contiunes...
Don't judge her for riding like Britney Spears with the baby on her lap.
When we ask Eloise who is her best friend, she says Sasha. When I ask Eloise what she dreams about, she says Sasha. When I ask her who she is "talking" on the phone to, she says Sasha. Some days the only way I can get her to get in the car to go to school is to tell her that Sasha is waiting for her. At the end of each day, Eloise & Sasha walk out of their classroom holding hands until we get to the outside doors. I told them to do it one day and they have done it on their own ever since. We are so sad that Sasha & the rest of the Thakur family are moving back to St. Louis in a few weeks. We will miss them so much it hurts. Not only is Eloise losing her bestie...Mommy is too.
