Words with Friends

I'm sure you are surprised to hear that Eloise has become quite the chatterbox.  Most of the time it is a bunch of toddler talk that we have no real idea what she is saying but still very cute.  Whenever she is trying to ask us a question, she does so by saying her weird little words and shaking her head yes with conviction.

Here's a run down of her growing vocabulary...

Toddling Thru - Valentine's Day Celebrations

Eloise had a Valentines-filled week with lots of fun gifts and celebrations.
Grandma Sandy & Grandma Mike got a Eloise a fancy Valentine's Day outfit & Little People set.
Eloise even got some Valentines in the mail.
Mommy bought a cute heart wreath that she thought she could get Eloise to her face in so Mommy could snap a photo for Daddy.  Here are the results:
"Eloise - can you put your face in the hole?"
 "Ok…good enough…Say Cheese!"
Eloise's treat bag she made at school
All her valentines from her friends
 Eloise's favorite Valentine was Piper.
She even brought her a Valentine and gave her hug.
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Kevin got Eloise some fun gifts for Valentine's Day too!

Toddling Thru: 17 Months

What did we do this month?

Eloise went to the dentist for the 1st time and did a great job!  She sat in the chair all by herself and let the Dentist clean her teeth.  4 of Eloise's molars have cut through since last month so she is ready for steak, right? She still loves brushing her teeth so she was beyond excited when she got to pick out her own toothbrush at the end.  Not gonna lie, very proud mom moment when your kiddo impresses the dentist with their love of brushing.

Daddy revamped his fish tank for Eloise's playroom and made it a Little Mermaid homage.  Eloise has always loved the small fish tank in our office and points to the mounted fish Brad has and says, "Fishy." Now she can point out tons of fish in her new tank.
Eloise's latest "trick" is her love for "reading to the class" as we call it.  She turns her chair around to face us on the couch and sits with her book.  She reads aloud to us and turns out the book and points to the pictures.  It is too cute!
