Sleep: Sleeps on that tummy all night long.

What is Eloise doing?

Putting her foot in her mouth...literally.

Sitting in her highchair to get ready to start rice cereal this coming week

Playing in her exersaucer & jumperoo

Reaching for everything - glasses, hair, cell phone, bottle, & whatever is on your plate.

Tracking Piper with her eyes and reaching to pet her.  Unfortunately, Piper is afraid of Eloise and runs away the second she touches her. 

Highlights from this week:

Eloise sits like a lady...loves to cross those ankles.

 Introducing Quinnley Marie Kalins - Eloise's newest cousin.  

Born 1/17/13.  7lbs 5oz 20 inches. 

Baby Face Friday: 20 Weeks

Weight: 16lbs 9oz

Height: 25.34 inches

Sleep: Sleeping 8pm - 530am.  Eloise has decided that she likes to sleep on her side or her tummy.  Gives mommy & daddy some anxiety that she rolls to her stomach so quickly but she seems to like it the best. 

What is Eloise doing?

Putting EVERYTHING in her mouth, 

Discovering her feet and trying to get those in her mouth too

Doing "baby crunches" and trying to sit up when she is in a reclined position.

Baby Face Friday: 19 Weeks

Weight: 16lbs 5oz

Height: 25.75 inches

Sleep: Powered through a few nights of "crying out" in combination with a sound machine and Eloise is going to bed a little better.  

What is Eloise doing?

Reaching for toys, Pulling hair, Staring at anyone who eats in front of her, & putting everything in her mouth

For those of you that think Eloise sits perfectly still for every photo...think again!

Happy Birthday Grandma Karen!!

 This Sunday we celebrated Grandma Karen's Birthday!!

 Who needs birthday cake when the Birthday Girl requests 

Chocolate Chip cookies (from the DoubleTree Hotel) & Oberweis Ice Cream?

After some yummy food & delicious cookies, we all played on the floor and watched Eloise roll over again & again. 

Baby Face Friday: 18 Weeks

Weight: 16lbs 2oz - 82%

Height: 25.75 inches - 90%

Sleep: Sleeping thru the night but fighting going down for about an hour.  Any suggestions out there? Maybe I'm not putting her down early enough.

What is Eloise doing?

As soon as you put her down on her back, she rolls over.  

Drooling and chewing on anything she can get her hands on. 

Baby Face Friday: 4 months

Weight: 15lbs 110z

Height: 25 inches

Sleep: Sleeping thru night for the most part except for the few times she wakes up and needs a little encouragement (i.e. the pacifier) to go back to sleep.

What is Eloise doing?

Rolling over - tummy to back & back to tummy

Teething?!?

Grabbing at anything she can. 

Playing in the bathtub - kicking her legs and reaching for a toy

"This blanket is so soft.  I wonder what it tastes like..."

At Daycare, all the kids have a poster in their room with photos of their families.  When Eloise's teacher, Ms. Vicki, told me about the poster that first week I thought I had to make it.  I was actually looking forward to making it and scoped out the other posters in the room.  They all had similar styles so I figured that I would follow the "pattern."  Turns out, the teachers make the posters for their kids and all I was supposed to do was bring in the photos.  Oh well.  I had fun making the poster!

Eloise's 1st Christmas

We kicked off our Christmas celebrations first with Grandpa Jim

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated at Grandma Sandy & Grandpa Mike's House.

We attempted a Cousins picture with the 3 girls and here is what we ended up with... 

No one said it was easy to get a 3.5 year old, 20 month old, & 4 month to look at the same time!
