Baby Face Friday: 10 months

What is this 10 month old up to?

Eats Breakfast, Lunch, & 2 snacks at daycare every day.  She loves sitting at the table like a big girl feeding herself whatever is on the menu.  Girlfriend has tried everything from chicken tacos to lasagna to salisbury steak!

Favorite foods: Blueberries, Bananas, Avocado, Waffles, Turkey Burger, Peas, Meatballs

Good thing she has 6 teeth to chew up all this food - 2 on the bottom & 4 on top!

Eloise is crawling at Lightening Speed.  In the blink of an eye she get from one end of the house to the other.  Baby gates are in the NEAR future at the Kalins House.  When she isn't crawling, she is pulling up on everything she can and cruising around the furniture, walls, or cabinets.  Give her something to hold on and she is cruisin'!  Even though Mom & Dad bought her the fancy push toys, she prefers to use the kitchen chairs or her highchair as a walker.

Favorite things to do:
Play with her tea set in the bath tub
Watch music videos on Daddy's phone and do a little dance
"Sort" laundry - aka throw clothes into different piles
Nest.  Empty the tupperware cabinet and nest everything together in little piles.
Hammering.  The best way to describe the constant banging of the toys together.

Baby Face Friday: 41 Weeks

Last Sunday we kicked off our Father's Day Celebrations with Grandpa Mike & Uncle Bob

The swing set is a big hit with the whole family!

 The girls kept Grandpa Mike busy since everyone needed a little push from time to time

Celebrated Aunt Laura's 28th Birthday

 Discovered how to get into the tupperware cabinet & it was amazing

 Eloise loves to watch music videos on Daddy's phone - specifically anything by Macklemore.

 Daddy & Eloise have a fun game of hide & seek with Daddy's hat

Tree of Life

A few weeks ago, Brad went to the house he grew up in Carol Stream and took some of the seeds from the Maple tree that his Grandpa had planted for him when he was born.  Brad's tree is about as old as he is and now towers over his old house.  He has planted these seeds with the hopes that they will grow and turn into a tree that he can plant for Eloise in our backyard.
